This font is based on a circus poster. The poster dates back to 1913 if the site where I found it is correct. The poster is for Circus Busch, and the title is “Die Nibelungen”. It has “Circus Busch” rendered in chunky letters with strokes that terminate with interesting angles. I knew I had to create the rest of the alphabet and make a font from it.
